Kovohutě Příbram takes part in the systems of withdrawal and separated collection in the role of a processor and offers producers, importers and companies processing, use and disposal of their used products.

These used products mean certain material potential for Kovohutě Příbram and the company has therefore decided, within the framework of diversification of its activities, to extend existing ecologic service to the public, i.e. recycling of lead wastes and waste materials with the content of precious metals, by offering processing used electric and electronic devices.

For several years, Kovohutě Příbram has been dealing with the purchase and processing of sorted out components of WEEE with the content of precious metals and the company has rich experience with the ecologic recycling of whole electric devices, which are withdrawn from a number of natural persons and legal entities nowadays.

Long-standing tradition and experience in processing of WEEE led, in 2004, to the decision to introduce a technological line for industrial processing of waste materials from electric and electronic devices with the capacity of up to 10,500 tons/year (at three-shift operation and the capacity of 2 tons/hour). This all with minimal manufacturing costs due to industrial character of the technology.
